These are the parts of a ball joint assembly, the female threaded end with the socket to receive the ball of Ball Joint with the clip attached (the locking mechanism to hold the ball joint in place). These are included in the 070011172 and -173 Ball Joint assemblies which are used to make up the Distributor Trip Cable assembly
